In order to get the full experience of Mexican Hot Chocolate, you need to ensure the chocolate is made in Oaxaca, froth and mix with a traditional molinillo, and sip out of a clay barro cup. This set of 2 handmade ceramic mugs are simple in design, with a lovely glaze coating the inside and lip of each cup to help mitigate condensation. 

Hand Crafted Individuality

Each mug has been crafted by hand in Mexico, meaning the shape, proportion, and glaze will vary, making each one uniquely beautiful. The clay is acquired from local sources, and traditional tools are used to carry on the clay-throwing techniques of generations before.

Hot...or cold

Thanks to the interior glaze, these mugs are perfect for keeping your iced coffee cold in the morning, and keeping your hot chocolate cozy warm in the evening. The clay acts as a natural insulator, keeping cold drinks colder for longer, and hot drinks hot for longer.

Each cup holds appx. 14 oz.

Jules and Jacquie, mother and daughter founders, have been in the gift business together for 27 years. They started looking for more distinctive products with heart and soul after getting disenchanted with the mass-produced goods that were so prominent on the market.
