In honor of AAPI heritage month, we're excited to celebrate our AAPI-owned brands and founders. All of these founders share a common goal: to make the world a better place! Each founder has their own, unique story on how they started their journey.

First up, we have This is a Love Song (aka TIALS)! Founded by Stephanie Srikandi, TIALS' mission is to high-quality and eco-friendly everyday basics that are easy for you to just pull out of your wardrobe at any time.

Stephanie was inspired to create TIALS to help you make ethical choices to minimize the impact that the fashion industry has on our planet.  🙌

Ally Shoes

Founder: Samantha Dong

Ever faced the struggle of finding the perfect shoe that's BOTH comfortable and fashionable? After years of working as a management consultant and wearing painful heels to work, Samantha Dong was inspired to fix this issue for all women!

That's how Ally Shoes came to be; with a mission to empower women with confidennce through heels that are comfortable enough for all-day wear. 😍😍

Founder: Anisha Vinjamuri

Founder: Tina Cheng

Capsul celebrates life’s most joyous moments by capturing memories into every-day jewelry. Using the latest 3D-printing technology, each piece is uniquely designed, casted, and customized with your own handwriting, the sound wave of a voice, or a special name, date, or place. 

Founder Tina Cheng was inspired to create Capsul Jewelry after discovering that most jewelry's production is quite toxic to the environment and humans. She wanted to find a way to make the process more eco-friendly and affordable!

Founder: Sara Shah

Journ is on a mission to inspire and celebrate all women from different paths of life through high quality skincare products. These products both improve skin health & conceal redness, hyperpigmentation, dark circles, and other skin concerns!

Founder Sara Shah was inspired by her own journey with acne to build Journ, in hopes of creating skincare-focused-cosmetics that will improve skin’s health over time and conceal specific skin concerns for a flawless look.

Founder: Pam Phinney

What would you do if you had 200 pounds of honey? Founder Pam Phinney started her skincare brand, Plainville Homestead, with it! 

Plainville Homestead handcrafted skin and body care products in small batches in Plainville, MA! The brand is deeply committed to making high-quality products at an accessible price.

Their mission is to empower consumers to learn more about the chemical processes that make production possible, and to combat greenwashing that's all too common in this industry.
